Remarks. This is a lot from [Colombia. Santander,] Hacienda Santanas, Rio Lebrija Valley, 1000 ft [~ 300 m], Carriker leg./1949 (USNM 601781, as P. coloratus subplicatus Pfr.) which we were unable to place. The subadult specimen resembles P. piperatoides, a taxon which we consider to occur in northeastern Colombia.
