Neocanthidium kelleri Martínez et al., 1964: 172 [transferred to Canthidium (Canthidium) by Martínez & Halffter (1986a: 28); here transferred to the subgenus Neocanthidium]. Type locality: Argentina: Misiones: Loreto (“ Loreto, Misiones Province, Argentina ”). Type material: Holotype male (MACN—ex Martínez collection); see full list of paratypes in Martínez et al. (1964: 176). Distribution: Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).

Dichotomius (Luederwaldtinia) paraguayanus Gandini & Aguilar, 2009: 139, fig. 1 [synonymized by Nunes & Vaz-de-Mello 2013: 416].
