Canthidium (Neocanthidium) viride (Lucas, 1859)

Choeridium viride Lucas, 1859: 102 [transferred to Canthidium by Harold 1869a: 1006 (see also Harold 1869b: 58); here transferred to the subgenus Neocanthidium]. Type locality: Brazil, from Goiás to Mato Grosso (“De Goyaz à Cuyaba”). Type material: Unknown number of syntypes (MNHN). Distribution: French Guiana, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
