Type Locality: Brazil, Pará. Original designation of Guyana was probably an error (Cabrera, 1961:588).

Distribution: NE Brazil.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Ojasti (1972:164) considered the status of this form uncertain.
