Current name: Rosa x centifolia L. ( Rosaceae).

Note: Heath (in Calyx 1: 169-170. 1992; 2: 125. 1992) discussed the name, and its status as generitype, but did not typify it. Ghora & Panigrahi (Fam. Rosaceae India 2: 323, pl. 62. 1995) illustrated 652.18 (LINN).
