Note: Specific epithet spelled “rutaefolius” in the protologue.

This name has been treated as ambiguous by a number of authors, e.g. Zimmermann (in Feddes Repert. 73: 3. 1966), and does not appear to be in current use. However, no formal rejection proposal appears to have been made.
