Current name: Blechum pyramidatum (Lam.) Urb. ( Acanthaceae).

Note: Daniel (in Proc. Calif. Acad. Sci. 48: 255. 1995) discussed the typification of this name, concluding that only one or the other of the cited Sloane and Plumier illustrations would be a logical choice as lectotype.
