Neotype (Vollesen, Blepharis: 96. 2000): Garcin s.n. (G).

Current name: Blepharis ciliaris (L.) B.L. Burtt ( Acanthaceae).

Note: Vollesen ( Blepharis: 96. 2000) indicates Garcin material in G (unseen by him) as the type. Such material may well not have been seen by Linnaeus so should probably be treated as a neotype.
