Current name: Ranunculus ficaria L. ( Ranunculaceae).

Note: Laegaard (in Nordic J. Bot. 20: 525. 2001) reviewed the history of this name, accepted Benson’s typification (rather than the later one made by Sell in Watsonia 20: 42-43. 1994), and validated subsp. fertilis Clapham for the diploid variant.
