Lectotype (Benson in Amer. Midl. Naturalist 52: 336. 1954): Herb. Linn. No. 715.52 (LINN) .

Current name: Ranunculus repens L. ( Ranunculaceae).

Note: Lourteig (in Darwiniana 9: 491. 1951) indicated both 715.52 and 751.53 (LINN) as types, but as they do not appear to be part of a single gathering, Art. 9.15 does not apply.
