Type locality: WH 1948/383, semi-permanent well, Pos Soedesthoed, Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles (12°02’43” N, 68°15’48” W). Holotype (1♀)— ZMA, Ost. 150.731.
In Venezuela: at the following localities according to Broodbakker (1983b): SUCRE State —WH 1936/06, temporary pond, Estanque Chacopata, Araya Peninsula (GN 10º40’38” N, 63º49’09” W); WH 1936/07, temporary open well, Estanque Chacopata, Chacopata, Araya Peninsula (GN 10º40’38” N, 63º49’09” W).
Remarks: geographical distribution includes the Caribbean Islands, such as Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Martinique, Barbuda, Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barthelemy, St. Martin, British Virgin Islands (Virgin Gorda), Puerto Rico, and Venezuela (Broodbakker 1982, 1983b).
