Holotype male in MNNC (as NMPC in error, see Erratum on p. 602).

Type locality: Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta, Sendero Piedra de Aguila at Araucaria Milenaria, 1180 m, [Malleco Province], [as “IX. La Araucania Region ” in original description], Chile.

Distribution: Chile: Cautín, Malleco, and Ñuble Provinces.

Note: This is one of the previously undescribed species mentioned by Newton, 1998: 91.
