A. mexicanum Hendrichs, 1979: 106 .

Holotype male not in MCMC (as indicated in original description), and not in UNAM (where part of that author’s specimens may be placed) [in Miller & Wheeler, 2005b: 164, specimens not seen] [six paratypes are in the National Collection of Insects, Mexico City, but lacked identification labels (José Luis Navarrete-Heredia, 2019, personal comm. to SBP)]. Original description states some specimens supposedly deposited in SBPC but this was never done.

Type locality: Cerro Tlaloc, 3800 m, México State, Mexico. Distribution: Mexico: Ciudad de México and México States.

The species is of uncertain status because specimens from the type series were not seen by Miller & Wheeler.
