Lectotype female in MACN (designated in Gnaspini, 1999; sex and number of specimens not given, in Bruch and Pic collections, in original description); one female paralectotype in MNHN (apparently the only specimen known to [and examined by] Jeannel, 1936 [as in Pic collection], but not examined or designated in Gnaspini, 1999).

Type locality: “ Argentina ” [Cueva Iturbe, 3700 m, on the Andes, Jujuy Province, in Jeannel, 1936].

Distribution: Argentina: Jujuy and Tucumán Provinces.
