Genus Agyrtodes Portevin

Agyrtodes Portevin, 1907:75; Jeannel, 1936: 103 (redescription). Type species: Agyrtodes ovatus Portevin (monotypy).

Distribution: Southern Chile (1 species) and 19 species in eastern Australia and New Zealand (Seago, 2009). Biology: Adults and larvae feed on the undersurfaces of woody polypore fungi; also collected on rotted logs and

dead wood.
