Dendropsophus counani Fouquet, Del Orrico, Ernst, Blanc, Martínez, Vacher, Rodrigues, Ouboter, Jairam and Ron, 2015

This recently described species of the D. parviceps group is known from the lowlands of the Guiana Shield, including localities in Guyana approximately 100 km from the eastern Venezuelan border, and could be present in the lowlands of the Cuyuni River Basin.
