Type locality: “ San Antonio, Parque Nacional Natural Tamá (PNNT) (7.153092, -72.227306) 600 m elevation, Departamento de Norte de Santander, Colombia.”

Distribution: Region 1. Endemic from foothills of Tamá massif between Colombia and Venezuela. Reported from Venezuelan side by Barrio-Amorós et al. (2015).
