Holotype: MHNLS 12917.

Type locality: Sector este, cima del Auyan-tepui, Estado Bolívar, Venezuela (05°53’36”N, 62°29’12”W), 1,750 m asl .

Distribution: Region 5. Endemic to the summit of Auyan-tepui, Bolívar State.
