Genus Stefania Rivero, 1968

Type species: Hyla evansi Boulenger, 1904, by original designation.

Remarks: Infrageneric groups in Stefania ( S. evansi and S. goini species group) are no longer recognized, since Kok et al. (2012) and Castroviejo-Fisher et al. (2015) inferred these two groups as non-monophyletic.
