Holotype: UPR-M 5295.

Type locality: Colonia Tovar, 1,800 m, D.F., Venezuela.

Distribution: Region 2. Southern versant of the Cordillera Litoral and the western sector of the Cordillera de la Costa, 1,200–1,800 m asl .
