Holotype: UTA-A3814.

Type locality: “ Rainforest at 213 m elevation at Wacará, Vaupés, Colombia (...) 01°09’N, 69°55’W.”

Distribution: Region 4. Guiana Shield Region. Records from Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. In Venezuela, at least three localities in Amazonas state.
