Pristimantis tubernasus (Rivero 1984) *
Holotype: UPR-M 4349.
Type locality: “ Boca de Monte, Camino a Pregonero, 2,393 m, Edo. Mérida, Venezuela.”
Distribution: Region 1. Colombia and Venezuela. In Venezuela, distributed in the Andes of Táchira, Barinas, and Mérida States.
Remarks: Eleutherodactylus pulidoi Rivero, 1984 was considered a junior synonym of P. tubernasus by Lynch (2003). In P. unistrigatus species group of Hedges et al. (2008) but not assigned to any species group by Padial et al. (2014).
