Anostirus Thomson, 1859 .

The single species of the genus in Montana, Anostirus bipunctatus (Brown), was originally described in Ludius Eschscholtz, 1829 . The lone Montana specimen was collected by hand during 2002 in Ravalli County and represents a new state record for the species and genus.
