Eanus LeConte, 1861 .
Previous records of Eanus granicollis (Van Dyke) from the state are misidentifications of Eanus albertanus (Brown), and the former species is removed from the checklist of Montana species. The species “ Eanus sp. A ” in Seibert (1993) included one hand-collected specimen from Ahern Pass on the Continental Divide (between Flathead and Glacier cos.) and was loaned out for identification in the early 1990s but has apparently gone missing in the intervening years. Due to the current lack of any specimens, we have left this unknown species off the Montana checklist.
