Sylvanelater Johnson, 2008 (in Majka and Johnson 2008).

This genus was included in the Seibert (1993) checklist as Ctenicera and included only one species, Sylvanelater mendax (LeConte) . However, an additional species, Sylvanelater limoniiformis (Horn), was collected in the northeastern portion of the state in 2011.
