Chuniphyes moserae Totton, 1954

Distribution in South America: Atlantic Ocean, Brazil to Argentina, from 0º to 67ºS (Moser 1925; Totton 1954; Alvariño 1971, 1981; Pugh et al. 1997; Pugh 1999; Migotto et al. 2002; Silveira & Morandini 2011).

Habitat: oceanic species, found in tropical, subtropical and temperate waters (Pagès et al. 1994; Pugh et al. 1997; Pugh 1999; Pugh & Gasca 2009).
