Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Argentina, at 51.18°S 56.95°W, at 52° S 55.34° W (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011).
Habitat: polyp—from 225 to 1,200m depth (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011).
