Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Argentina, at 40.37°S 59.24°W, at 53.94°S 63.85°W (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011).

Habitat: polyp—from 72 to 250m depth (El Beshbeeshy 1991, 2011).
