Clade wiegmannii

This clade was recently reviewed in deep detail by Etheridge (2000). Information on the diagnostic traits, distribution, natural history, morphological-based phylogenetic relationships and nomenclatural history of almost every species belonging to this group (except L. arambarensis and L. azarai, descrited in later studies; see below) can be found in this paper.
