Current name: Cladonia uncialis (L.) F.H. Wigg. ( Cladoniaceae).
Note: See discussion by Jørgensen & al. (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 360, 382, f. 61. 1994). The lectotype, 1273.246, lower specimen (LINN), belongs to Cladonia amaurocraea ( Flörke) Schaer and the name was successfully proposed for conservation with a conserved type.
