Neotype (Nicholls in Bot.J. Linn. Soc. 91: 486. 1986): Herb. Tournefort No. 3089 (P) .

Current name: Linum tenuifolium L. subsp. suffruticosum (L.) Litard. ( Linaceae).

Note: Although the Tournefort collection was not studied by Linnaeus, and cannot be the holotype as suggested by Nicholls, the absence of any original material for the name means that this collection can be treated as a neotype (under Art. 9.8).
