Current name: Lobelia cliffortiana L. ( Campanulaceae).
Note: Rendle (in J. Bot. 73: 273. 1935; in Fawcett & Rendle, Fl. Jamaica 7: 142. 1936) stated that the name was based on the Clifford plate, also noting good material in the Clifford herbarium (BM). However, he did not explicitly indicate a type.
