Note: Although Rolfe (in J. Linn. Soc., Bot. 20: 347. 1884) noted the existence of 801.2 (LINN), he did not indicate it as type, and Hilliard (Tribe Selagineae: 12. 1999) did so, but with doubt ("Type: sheet no. 801.2 herb. LINN?").
