Generitype of Limonia Linnaeus.

Current name: Limonia acidissima L. ( Rutaceae).

Note: Panigrahi (in Taxon 26: 577. 1977) proposed the name for rejection but Stone & Nicolson (in Taxon 27: 551. 1979) argued against this. The Committee for Spermatophyta (in Taxon 31: 540. 1982) declined Panigrahi’s rejection proposal.
