Syntype: Same specimen as the lectotype of Hirundo leucopyga Meyen, 1834 (above). Remarks. Two further two syntypes from “ Chile ” are in MHH (nos. 1454, 1455), but their other details are unknown (Mlíkovský & Frahnert 2009).
