Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (2 specimens, St. CP 4420-30-31, northeast of New Hanover; 2 specimens, St. CP 4422-23-24, northeast of New Hanover; 2 specimens, St. CP 4423-22-23, northeast of New Hanover).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1.—General distribution: Western Pacific: New Ireland; Taiwan to southern Japan. Demersal, 360–550 m depth. Marine.
