Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (2 specimens, St. CP 4429-21-22, northeast of New Hanover; 2 specimens, St. CP 4441-8-9, northeast of New Hanover; 2 specimens, St. CP 4442-1-2, northnorthwest of Kavieng; 2 specimens, St. CP 4448-12, CP 4448-14, north of New Hanover).
Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1, 2.—General distribution: Western Pacific: Philippines and New Ireland north to Taiwan, Korea and southern Japan, south to northern Australia. Demersal, 150–892 m depth. Marine.
