Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4431-1, northeast of New Hanover; 1 specimen, St. CP 4436-1, north of Kavieng, 30 Aug. 2014; 2 specimens, St. CP 4443-5-6, north of New Hanover).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1, 2.—General distribution: Western Pacific: New Ireland; southern Japan. Bathydemersal, 401–1128 m depth. Marine.
