Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4436-12, north of Kavieng).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Circumglobal in tropical seas. Bathydemersal, 1100–3300 m depth. Marine.
