Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (3 specimens, St. CP 4421-16-18, northeast of New Hanover).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1.—General distribution: Western Pacific. Benthopelagic, 150–470 m depth. Marine.
