Remarks. In addition to the species listed below, a total of 30 additional, unidentified macrourid species collected off northern New Ireland are represented in the NTUM collection: Coelorinchus spp. (4 species), Coryphaenoides spp. (6 species), Hymenocephalus spp. (4 species), Kumba sp. (1 species), Nezumia spp. (7 species), Pseudonezumia sp. (1 species), Sphagemacrurus sp. (1 species), Trachonurus sp. (1 species), Ventrifossa spp. (5 species).
