Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4431-4, northeast of New Hanover; 1 specimen, St. CP 4436-11, north of Kavieng).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1, 2.—General distribution: Western Pacific: Philippines north to Taiwan, south to Papua New Guinea. Bathydemersal, 560–990 m depth. Marine.
