Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4433-10, north of Kavieng). Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Circumglobal in tropical and subtropical seas, but not North Atlantic. Bathydemersal, 250–5150 m depth. Marine.
