Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM 11474 (11 specimens, St. KS47, west side of Tsoilaunung Island, Kavieng District, 02°32.785’S 150°30.827’E, 6 m depth, 18 June 2014).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Indonesia east to Palau, north to Ryukyu and Ogasawara islands, south to Western Australia. 6 m depth. Marine.
