Status at New Ireland. New record from New Guinea, based a specimen photographed at Lissenung Island, Kavieng District by Dietmar Amon on 24 Oct. 2010.

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: northern Sulawesi, Indonesia. On sand bottom, 15 m depth. Marine.
