Type locality: Darjiling [NE India, north of West Bengal, Darjeeling]

Distribution: Sikkim, (Strand 1922), Arunachal Pradesh (Arora & Chaudhury 1982), West Bengal (Darjeeling) (Ghosh & Chaudhury 1997).

Remark: M. inflexa is reliably known only from Himalayan limits. So the records from the South of Brahmaputar valley (Mizoram, Meghalaya) possibly belong to an externally similar species M. Victoria.
