Type locality: Himalaya Mountains . North India. Lectotype as a type from Sikkim [India] designated by Hampson (1901: 339).

Distribution: North West Himalayas, West Bengal (Darjeeling), Assam, Sikkim (Dubatolov 2010, Kirti & Singh 2016).
