Diagnosis (male). Typical wing maculation adjacent to CuA1, M1 and M2, near to Rs apex and as a square anteriorly to M1.
Material examined. Holotype ♂, COSTA RICA, Puntarenas: 24 km W Piedras Blancas, 8.77ºN, 83.4ºW, xii.1990, Malaise trap, 200 m, P. Hanson col. (LACM) . Paratypes: 1♂, COSTA RICA: Limon: 16 km W Gualipes, 10.15ºN, 83.92ºW, iii–v.1990, Malaise trap, 400 m, P. Hanson col. (LACM) ; 1♂, same as holotype but, iii–iv.1989, P. Hanson & I. Gauld col. (LACM).
Hypopygium description (Fig. 83). The hypopygium of this species is very similar to that of C. bilineata, differing by its short posterior projection of the right epandrial margin (Fig. 83, black arrow).
Geographical distribution. Costa Rica and Panama.
