Specimens examined. 7♀, Jazan, Sabya, Basahy Farm, 28.vi.–19.vii.2013, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah (CERS) ; 1♂, Asir, Maraba, Al-Hudaithy Fruit Farm, 1–31.v.2004, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah (NMWC) ; 2♀, same data but, 1–31.xii.2004 (CERS) .
Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Saudi Arabia by Dawah & Abdulla (2003). It was described from a single specimen from Grand Comore Island. There are some specimens in NMWC collected from Yemen.
Remarks. The listing of Sabrosky’s (1979) paper appears in the appendix of Crosskey (1980), it being a paper that was only discovered by the compilers after the manuscript had gone to press. The information mentioned above is the only knowledge of the distribution of T. bimarginata .
