Dicraeus bothriochloae Nartshuk, 1978: 86 .

Specimens examined. 1♂, 1♀, Jazan, Abu Aresh, Al-Mahdag village, 30.i.2012, sweeping, J.C. Deeming (NMWC; CERS) .

Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Saudi Arabia by Deeming & Al-Dhafer 2012. It was described from Turkmenistan and further recorded from India, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and United Arab Emirates (Deeming & Al-Dhafer 2012; Nartshuk 1984).

Biology. All Dicraeus spp. of which the biology is known have larvae which feed on and destroy the developing seeds of cereals and grasses.
